What you get
- Author a SKILL.md package with clear inputs and outputs
- Include supporting files agents need (examples, schemas, scripts)
- Publish free or paid from Account → Marketplace
- Buyers sync skills into their local VibeFuse skills folder
What a marketplace skill contains
A skill is more than a single prompt paste. Good packages include a SKILL.md that states the job, constraints, and how the agent should use tools, plus examples and any helper files. Think “installable workflow,” not “tweet-length tip.” Buyers pay for reliability and clarity.
Publish checklist
Write the skill, test it with at least two agents on your canvas, add a short demo GIF or screenshot, set price, and connect payouts. Publish from Account → Marketplace. After install, skills land in the buyer’s local skills directory so agents can load them without copy-paste drift.
Grow after the first publish
Respond to reviews, version the skill when models change, and cross-link a matching widget if the workflow needs UI. The best skill listings read like docs: problem, setup, example run, limitations. That honesty reduces refunds and earns forum shares.
When another path wins
If your audience only uses a single vendor’s closed skill store, publishing on VibeFuse will not replace that channel overnight. A public GitHub gist may also be enough when you want zero commerce friction. Publish here when you want paid distribution, install sync into a desktop agent harness, and a listing page that can rank for the workflow you solve.

What is a VibeFuse skill?
A skill is an installable package — typically SKILL.md plus supporting files — that agents load as a reusable workflow inside the VibeFuse desktop workspace.
Where do installed skills go?
Skills sync into the buyer’s local VibeFuse skills directory (commonly under their VibeFuse skills folder) so Claude Code, Codex and other agents can use them.
Can skills be free?
Yes. Many creators publish a free starter skill and a paid advanced pack. Free skills still help you collect reviews and followers.
Do I need Stripe to publish a free skill?
You can publish free skills without taking payments. Connect Stripe Connect or PayPal before you list paid skills so payouts can complete.
