What sells in an AI widget marketplace
Buyers look for widgets that save time on a multi-agent canvas: focus timers, Linear or GitHub boards, terminal dashboards, browser helpers, note binders and small games that keep them in flow. The listing that ranks is the one with a clear job-to-be-done, a screenshot of the widget on the canvas, and an honest description of OS and agent requirements. Start with one sharp problem. Expand into a bundle later.
Package and publish in one afternoon
A VibeFuse widget is a folder: manifest.json plus the HTML/CSS/JS the iframe loads. Test it on your own canvas first. When it is stable, open Settings → Marketplace (or Account → Marketplace) and publish. Choose free or paid. Connect Stripe Connect or PayPal so payouts can clear. After approval, your listing lives at a keyword-bearing URL under the marketplace — that page is part of the growth loop, not just a checkout form.
Price, support and iteration
Free listings build installs and reviews; paid listings fund the work. Many creators ship a free template and a paid pro variant. Answer install questions in the forum, ship changelog notes, and treat refunds as signal. The creators who win are the ones who iterate weekly, not the ones who publish once and disappear.
When another path wins
A dedicated no-code widget store or a huge prompt marketplace may already have more traffic than a young canvas marketplace. If your product is a standalone SaaS with its own login and billing, selling through VibeFuse will feel limiting. Use VibeFuse when your widget is meant to live beside Claude Code, Codex and Cursor on a Windows desktop canvas — and when you want install-native distribution instead of another web dashboard.

Do I need to pay to list an AI widget?
No. Listing is free. You can publish free or paid widgets. Platform fees apply only when a paid sale completes.
How do buyers install my widget?
Buyers install from the marketplace into VibeFuse with one click. The widget appears on their canvas library and syncs into the desktop app.
What file format does a widget use?
A widget is a folder with manifest.json plus HTML/CSS/JS loaded in a canvas iframe. Package and test locally before you publish.
Can I sell the same widget elsewhere?
Yes. You keep the rights to your code. Many creators also share open templates while selling a polished paid edition on the marketplace.
