- Subscribe to Pro — unlocks Note Taking, Continuous, product key, and optional sync/email.
- Install VocalFuse — Windows app downloads the local model (~~57 MB) into
C:\VocalFuse\models\on first launch. - Paste product key — from Product Keys; Note Taking and Continuous unlock after Pro verification.
- Select Note Taking — click the pill to start; click again to stop. Wait for “Sending notes…” if cloud sync is on.
- Review — open Account → Notes (AI summary + transcript segments) or read the optional Gmail summary.

Does transcription note taking upload my voice?
No. Audio transcribes on your PC. Only text (transcript segments and AI summary) uploads when cloud notes are enabled on your Pro product key.
How do I control cloud sync and email?
In Account Settings on the website: toggle cloud notes storage and set notes_email_to for optional Gmail summary delivery. The desktop app reads these flags when it verifies your product key.
