What's new in VibeFuse
Release notes, features, and fixes for the free vibe-coding harness: widget canvas, Jarvis wake word, MCP Tools, marketplace sync, named sessions, and multi-agent widgets. Same feed the desktop app shows under Settings → Updates; install or refresh via /downloads/VibeFuse/ or Settings → About → Check for updates.

Code Studio preview and local voice
Code Studio opens the file you click, previews markdown the way GitHub shows a README, and no longer zooms the canvas when you scroll. Local Whisper and Piper handle speech, and listening stops when you finish talking.

Settings Update saves the installer
Settings → About → Update now writes the installer to disk before it checks the file. The button was reading the download to show progress first, so the saved file was missing its Windows header.

Terminal starts on a freshly downloaded copy
The default Terminal now opens after you download VibeFuse onto another Windows PC. The app stores its data in your user folder when C:\vibefuse is not writable, starts a shell that exists on that machine, and falls back to the bundled console host if Windows cannot create one.

Hands-free voice chat, instant Jarvis replies, and webcam vision
Tap the orb for continuous voice chat or keep "Always listening" on. Jarvis answers instantly with fitting replies and says "Disregarded" to stray noise. He can now look through your webcam to answer questions like "what finger am I holding up?" Terminals survive app restarts.

Cron Gateway, Jobs nav, and sub-agent visibility
Schedule agent jobs that keep running after quit. Jobs nav lists Active/Past runs. Jarvis can manage cron via tools. Marketplace styling Save fixed. Sub-agents can hide from nav.

New splash, marketplace resilience, menubar polish, app usage meters
Boot splash matches the brand glow. Marketplace styling packs recover from API outages with cache + clearer errors. Titlebar menubar is cleaner; status bar shows app-only CPU, RAM, and GPU memory.

Fuse Desktop API wired into Jarvis, marketplace, and Settings
Jarvis gets fuse_desktop_api for marketplace, forum, updates, profile, and analytics. Marketplace modal, library sync, Settings Updates, About profile, and update checks now call the live Fuse Intelligence Desktop API.

Navigation refresh, resizable sidebar, canvas catalog pill
Catalog pill on the canvas bar (Agents, Widgets, Skills wrench, Style packs). Sidebar is context-only: Sub-Agents, time-bucketed session archive, workspace history, resizable width with canvas reflow. Includes v0.1.29 MCP PAT/re-link fixes.

GitHub PAT save, Google re-link, MCP tool aliases
GitHub PATs persist with Save token (Extensions + Code Studio). Google Connect/Sign-in saves MCP config first and adds Re-link account. MCP resolves hyphen/underscore and Gmail/Calendar alias tool names; github action=notifications with events fallback.

Place AI widgets in view
Settings → Appearance adds “Place AI widgets in view”: when on, Jarvis and assistant tools pack new widgets into the visible canvas; when off (default), new widgets still spawn off-screen so your layout stays untouched.

Named Sub-Agents, canvas routing, and tool brand spinners
Build persistent sub-agents with their own provider, memory, and permissions; open dedicated canvas tabs; slash commands respect disabled skills; Jarvis can create and configure sub-agents via tools; running jobs show Drive, Workspace, Linear, Discord, and VibeFuse brand marks.

Parallel Jarvis, Schematic Studio, and a quieter canvas
Run several Jarvis jobs at once with status bubbles, keep the visible canvas while you work, add Schematic Studio for circuits and diagrams, and toggle local servers or MCP without a restart.

Canvas layouts persist + quieter agents
Reload keeps every session’s zoom, pan, and widget size/position. Agents keep typing in terminals without stealing your caret, and stay on the prompt canvas when you switch tabs.

Jarvis chat + parallel sub-agents
Jarvis chat now uses Cursor-style bubbles with live sub-agent rows. spawn_subagents runs up to four jobs at once; extras queue. Launch no longer starts Whisper or unused web tools.

Kimi, Z.ai, Anthropic & X.ai providers
Agent → Provider and Settings → Agent add Kimi, Z.ai, and Anthropic. Groq is now X.ai. OpenAI, NVIDIA, and X.ai use the new logos and current model lists.

Installer auto-launch & in-app update articles
A pasted license key now launches VibeFuse and closes the installer when setup finishes. Settings → Updates opens each post inside the modal.

Hide agents and widgets from Jarvis
Terminal lives in Settings → Widgets. Hide any agent, skill, or widget to drop it from the sidebar and block Jarvis and voice from using it.

Tighter title bar, stacked sidebar & Style Packs
File/Agent/Voice sit next to the logo. Widgets and Skills stack under Agents. A Style Packs list shows the current pack and its colors.

A Beta v0.1.19 badge now sits next to Settings so it is clear this is still a pre-1.0 build.

Faster canvases with many sessions and widgets
Hidden session canvases sleep so browsers, agents, and drag stay smooth when you have several tabs loaded.

Telegram agent gateway & stop after wake word
Message Jarvis from Telegram after pairing a bot in Settings → Extensions. Click the orb to stop recording that starts after the wake word.

Canvas header chrome, HyperFrames renders & sidebar overflow
Zoom and widget focus/hide/close live in the CANVAS header. HyperFrames Renders lists the workspace folder. Long sidebar lists no longer clip.

Firecrawl without Docker & smarter installer
Paste a Firecrawl API key to use the cloud API when Docker is not installed, and the installer now replaces stale versions instead of keeping them.

Quieter voice replies, Linear widget, browser tabs
Piper speaks once when work starts and once for the final answer. Linear queries stay under the API cap, and browser tab clicks work on a zoomed canvas.

List GitHub repos through the saved PAT, Discord tools use the default server without broken snowflake IDs, plus Linear MCP/widget and installer CLI skip checkboxes.
