Create & sell

Sell on the marketplace — publish, polish, price

The desktop app uploads the package. The website is where you polish the storefront and set Price (USD). Widgets, skills, and styling packs each publish from a different Settings tab — then each has its own Account page for the public listing. Sellers keep 80% of paid sales; Fuse Intelligence takes 20% at Stripe Checkout.

List goes live Price on the web $0 or $0.50–$500 80% payout

Two surfaces — desktop upload vs website storefront

Do not mix the names. Settings → Marketplace is a VibeFuse tab for widget packages. Widgets Marketplace is the website Account page title at Account → Marketplace. Same split for skills and styling: desktop Settings tab vs Account polish page. Desktop validates and uploads; the website holds artwork, long copy, and Price (USD). There is no price field in the app.

Build guides: widget · skill · styling pack. Settings tabs: /docs/settings.

VF- key required

Marketplace upload, library sync, and seller identity are tied to your complimentary VF- license — the same key that unlocks VibeFuse. Copy it from Account → Product Keys, or from the desktop: Settings → About → Open product keys.

  • The Settings tab header shows your seller profile when the key is linked and valid.
  • Without a key, List on marketplace and library sync fail. Paste the key, then click Refresh.
  • Every Fuse Intelligence account gets a VF- key — there is no harness subscription to sell.

Where you publish (desktop vs Account titles)

PackagePublish in VibeFusePolish on the websiteFolder
Widget Settings → Marketplace Account → Marketplace (page title: Widgets Marketplace) C:\vibefuse\widgets
Skill Settings → Skills Account → Skills Marketplace C:\vibefuse\skills
Styling pack Settings → Appearance Account → Styling Marketplace C:\vibefuse\styling
Do not write “Settings → Widgets Marketplace.” That string is the Account page title. The desktop tab is Marketplace. Skills are not published from Marketplace; styling packs are not published from Marketplace.

Desktop buttons

These labels appear on the local-package cards (and the folder row above them). The same verbs are used for widgets, skills, and styling packs on their respective tabs.

ButtonWhat it does
RefreshRescan the local folder and re-fetch listing status from the server. Use after you paste a VF- key or drop a new folder on disk.
Open marketplaceOpens the public catalog in the in-app webview. Closing that view triggers a library sync.
List on marketplaceValidates the folder, uploads files, and publishes the listing. The card flips to Live on marketplace.
Update listingPushes new files and metadata for a package already listed (same manifest id). Saves, views, and price are kept.
PublishMakes an unpublished listing live again. You only see this after Unpublish (or if the site status is unpublished).
UnpublishHides the public page. Files stay on the server; existing installs keep working. The badge becomes Uploaded · unpublished.
Publish all (N)Banner action that publishes every unpublished listing in one click. N is the unpublished count.
Reveal folderOpens the widgets / skills / styling directory in Explorer.
Choose other folderUpload from a directory that is not the default C:\vibefuse\… path (for example a dist\ build).

Live cards also show View — a link to the public listing. Errors from a failed upload stay inline on the card; fix the files and try again.

List on marketplace goes live immediately

List on marketplace uploads and publishes. You do not click a second Publish for a first listing. Extra Publish (and the Publish all (N) banner) exists only after you Unpublish, or when the Account page status is Unpublished.

  1. Confirm the VF- key on Settings → About (or Open product keys).
  2. Open the correct Settings tab for the package type.
  3. Find the card under local packages — badge Not on marketplace.
  4. Click List on marketplace. On success the badge is Live on marketplace.
  5. Open the matching Account page to add artwork, a long description, and — for widgets and skills — a price.
Republishing the same folder (same manifest id) updates that listing in place. An id already claimed by another creator is rejected.

Website polish — Account pages

Uploads carry code. The storefront carries the pitch. After List on marketplace, finish the public page:

Account pageURLWhat you edit
Marketplace (Widgets Marketplace) /account/marketplace.php Name, card text, status, Price (USD), tags, card image, banner, screenshots + captions, long description
Skills Marketplace /account/skills-marketplace.php Same storefront fields, plus SKILL.md body (paste or upload .md), category, version
Styling Marketplace /account/styling-marketplace.php Name, card text, published status, search tags, generated theme preview — no Price field on this page

Public catalogs: /marketplace (widgets), /marketplace/skills, /marketplace/styling-packs. Buyers use Save to VibeFuse; packages land in their local folders on the next sync.

Finish a public seller profile (display name, avatar, optional bio / storefront banner) on Account → Marketplace. Followers see new drops on the marketplace pulse.

Price is not set in the desktop app

VibeFuse never asks for a dollar amount. After the listing is live, open the Account editor and set Price (USD) — two decimals, widget and skill listings only.

Free — $0.00

Anyone signed in can Save to VibeFuse. The package syncs into their C:\vibefuse\widgets or \skills folder. Best for reputation and followers.

Paid — $0.50 to $500.00

Requires Stripe Connect with charges and payouts enabled. Buyers pay through hosted Stripe Checkout. You keep 80%; the platform fee is 20%.

  • Leave 0.00 for free. Paid minimum $0.50, maximum $500.00.
  • You never invoice buyers. Stripe handles receipts, tax lines, and payouts to the connected account.
  • Styling packs are polished on Account → Styling Marketplace (name, description, tags, status). That page has no Price (USD) field.

Stripe Connect — 80 / 20

Open Account → Stripe Connect and finish onboarding until charges and payouts are enabled. Until that status is green, the Account price field will reject a paid amount.

  • Application fee is taken at checkout — 20% to Fuse Intelligence, 80% to you.
  • Net earnings show on Account Overview (7-day seller chart) and in your Stripe dashboard.
  • VibeFuse the harness stays free. You earn from your packages, not from a VibeFuse subscription.

Buyer sync into local folders

Saving a listing (or buying a paid one) writes the package onto the buyer’s PC. Sync runs at VibeFuse launch and when the in-app marketplace webview closes.

Widgets
C:\vibefuse\widgets
Skills
C:\vibefuse\skills
Styling
C:\vibefuse\styling

Your own uploads stay in those same directories. Reveal folder opens the one for the tab you are on. After an Update listing, buyers pick up the new files on their next sync.

Account overview, Stripe, and the community

One Fuse Intelligence login licenses VibeFuse, owns your marketplace library, and posts on the forum. Nothing here is a second account.

Account Overview

  • Display name, avatar, theme/accent for the website (desktop themes stay in Settings → Appearance).
  • Product Keys — complimentary VF- key. Same key as Settings → About → Open product keys.
  • Downloads — installer and exe for the linked license.
  • 7-day chart — marketplace views or net seller earnings after the platform fee.
  • Marketplace / Skills Marketplace / Styling Marketplace — the three polish pages above.

Stripe Connect

Required only for paid widget and skill prices. Free listings do not need it. Status must show charges and payouts enabled before $0.50–$500 will save. See Account → Stripe Connect.

Forum and community

  • Hub: /community · threads: /forum · ranks: /forum/ranks
  • Seller avatars appear on listing pages and the storefront. Forum signatures are set in Account settings.
  • Notifications cover replies plus marketplace saves and purchases. Discord is linked from the community hub.
  • Account settings pages are noindex — they are not SEO targets. Public storefronts and the catalogs are.

FAQ

Is “Widgets Marketplace” a Settings tab?

No. That is the Account page title. The desktop tab is Settings → Marketplace.

Where do I set the price?

Never in VibeFuse. Use Price (USD) on Account → Marketplace (widgets) or Account → Skills Marketplace. $0.00 free; $0.50–$500.00 paid with Stripe Connect.

Do I click Publish after List on marketplace?

Not for a first listing. List uploads and goes live. Publish is for listings you unpublished.

What split do sellers get, and where do files land?

80% to you, 20% at Stripe Checkout. Buyers sync into C:\vibefuse\widgets, \skills, and \styling on the next launch (or when the in-app marketplace closes).
